The Learnings module is a central submodule
. Central submodules allow you to associate a learning with affected module records and display all learning records in a global, centralized view

In Active Agenda, a learning is an experience or observation that should be recorded for you, your organization, or others to benefit from
. Recording your learning is a great way to memorialize important experiences that you would like to repeat or avoid.
are available from within almost every other module of Active Agenda. Central submodules include the global modules because the relationship between a central submodule record (e.g. a Learning) and its parent module record (e.g. a Training Course) represents a unique and important information relationship. This relationship benefits from the kinds of information tracked by global modules. The following global module records are available for association with the Learnings central submodule:
Use the Actions
screen to assign follow-up actions related to the Learnings module (e.g., Request a copy of the XYZ's Learnings list and enter any that seem relevant to our operations.). All actions are saved to a centralized location where you can quickly assess the status of actions assigned throughout the organization.
Associate digital files (e.g., XYZ Plant's learnings list in PDF) with the Learnings module in the Attachments
screen. All attachments are saved to a centralized location where you can quickly filter and locate items attached to records.
Access the Costs
screen to associate costs with the Learnings module (e.g., Costs associated wit printing the Learnings posters we plan to hang in all production areas). All costs are saved to a centralized location where you can quickly assess the Total Cost of Risk and/or filter costs by a variety of parameters.
Access the Links
screen to associate links with the Learnings module (e.g., Learning organizations (Senge) article in Wikipedia
). All links are saved to a centralized location where you can quickly access them by filtering on a variety of parameters.
Use the Notes
screen to associate notes with the Learnings module (e.g., We should consider a regular monthly meeting to discuss learnings that were entered over the past month). All notes are saved to a centralized location where you can quickly access them by filtering on a variety of parameters.
The Notifications List
screen lets you to establish a list of people to include in notifications. Notifications are sent manually by email and contain the contents of the Learnings module View
screen. Additional recipients can be added to a notification list on an ad hoc basis when a notification is sent. Notifications are sent using the Notify
screen located on the View
